フリンジフェスティバルの作品募集の季節到来
来年2月のフリンジvol.9公演 へ向かって、募集Webサイトがスタートしました！vol.9も何か、とてもエキサイティングなことが起こりそうで、ワクワクしています。
あなたしか見つけれぬ、あらぬものを見て、それをとことん膨らませ、世界に一つしかないダンスにして私達に見せて下さい。
2008年にスタートした「福岡ダンスフリンジフェスティバル～ダンスの発火点～」は、
・新進気鋭の振付家・ダンサーの作品発表・実験の場であること
・多様で新しいダンスをさまざまな角度から楽しむ・探究する場であること
・振付家・ダンサーおよびダンスに関心のある人の交流の場であること
を目指して、日本全国・アジア諸国はもちろん世界各国から作品を募集して開催する、
ダンスの一大イベントです。この機会にぜひチャレンジしてみてください！
※福岡県外の出演者については、交通費（1組につき最大5万円までの実費）が支給されます。

Next February, Fukuoka Dance Fringe Festival will be in its 9th year. This is all thanks to the many unique and fantastic submissions we receive from in and outs of Japan,and our faithful audience whose continued support allows us to pursue our passions. I am so grateful to have you as part of our community.
Recently, I found a great quote from one of my favorite artists; “illusions and misapprehensions appear at the fringe, and these illusions expand our imagination.” I hope that you stumble upon a new illusion or misapprehension that only you can see or find, and elaborate upon that to create a truly unique one-of-a-kind dance piece. I look forward to your submissions.
We are excited to announce the 9th Fukuoka Dance Fringe Festival. This year’s theme is “the ignition point of dance.” We encourage dancers everywhere to apply for a chance to showcase their original works on an international stage.Fukuoka Dance Fringe Festival has grown both in size and in the quality of works presented since the inaugural festival in 2008.Nevertheless, it still strives to fulfill its original mission to provide
・ A venue where choreographers and dancers can experiment
・ A stage where new and diverse works of dance are enjoyed and studied from many perspectives
・ A meeting place for choreographers, dancers, and others with interest in the performing arts
We are especially interested in showcasing dancers who have not had a chance to showcase their talents and imagination overseas. To this end, we are subsidizing traveling costs for dancers in need. Please do not hesitate to contact us if financial considerations are preventing you from applying to the festival.
